Is everyone baking pie, or is this a design detail of which I was unaware? It must be the latter, as there would have to be some sort of pastry pandemic to warrant all the Granny Smiths we’re seeing around Houzz. Not that I’m complaining, mind you; the crisp green brings a punch of color to a room, whether piled in a bowl or as inspiration for a coat of paint.
Although I wouldn’t mind them in a slice of pie either.
