As one of the Drummond House Plans that pleases clients on both sides of the border, plan 2853 is above all elegant with its beautiful veranda in front and its simple roof lines that are well balanced with the discreet openings including its double garage.

Inside, from the expanse of the main foyer can be seen a remarkable solarium. The 9’ ceiling height of the main floor which boasts a large living room with corner fireplace, a nicely sized dining room and a nicely sized kitchen with central island and breakfast nook. A separate laundry area with powder room and a beautiful secondary living room which could serve as a fourth bedroom.

The split level to the second floor has access to a surprisingly large bonus space above the garage that would make an ideal space for a home theater. The comfortably sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one an en suite to the main bedroom which also has a walk-in closet and a fireplace, make the appeal of this home obvious.

This member of our collection is much appreciated by owners of a panoramic lot. This model is particularly well suited to a lot which offers scenic views all around because they can be taken in from within several of the rooms.

Inside, from either the kitchen, the dining room, the living room or the master bedroom, the breathtaking landscape is visible from throughout the entire main level… a truly unique advantage that enhances the appeal of the interior design of this plan.

Other features worthy of mention are the an abundantly fenestrated kitchen, with central island, the fireplace between the living and dining rooms as well as the ample closet space in the master bedroom that has its own private access to the complete bathroom.

Add to the preceding a second floor with a bedroom and the full bathroom at the opposite end of the hallway from the second family room, that can double as a home office or a spare bedroom for guests, off of the mezzanine and it’s easy to see why this plan is so popular.

By integrating the impressive size of plan 3925 to the original idea for the design, plan 3923, this version has a double garage with an abundant bonus storage space above. The interior has undergone an enhancement to accommodate the addition of several amenities.

Inside, the beautiful entrance foyer opens out to the cathedral ceiling which enhances the open feeling of the great room with 9’ ceilings throughout the main floor. The dining room from plan 3923 has evolved into a kitchen with an island and a dining area that offers a delightful view from the windowed projection onto the back.

The well thought out laundry area on the main floor also adds to the ‘livability’ of this plan.

There have been few changes to the upstairs where two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and a mezzanine that can be used for a computer or reading corner are sure to meet the needs of the occupants.

Having received much attention at a Home Show in which it had been built on site and in response to the many requests for the addition of a garage to plan 3713, we are pleased to present model 3713-V1. The addition of a garage that is 14’ wide and almost 28’ deep is sure to meet the needs of the many who specifically requested this convenient feature.

Outside, the addition of a garage clad in fiber cement panels with cedar siding matches the rest of the structure for a pleasing visual impact and definite curb appeal.

Inside, other than the service entrance from the garage, this plan shares the same laudable features as its predecessor such as 9’ ceilings throughout the main level, a modern fireplace in the living room, a kitchen with an 8’ x 3’ island and computer corner, nicely sized bedrooms with ample closet space that includes a walk-in in the master bedroom and a full bathroom with separate 42” x 60” shower enclosure.

Inspired by the popular plan 3133, this version is particularly suited to those for whom the convenience of having everything on the same level, whether due to advanced age or other considerations, takes precedence over the number of bedrooms required.

The three bedrooms of the original plan become two as the third is replaced with a laundry/utility room in which a large counter complete with sink and place for a separate freezer are practical features that are sure to be appreciated by the occupants.

Naturally, this “baby boomer” approach includes the addition of a nicely sized garage that has service entrances in the front and rear with direct access to the basement. The 100 square feet added to the main level enhances the comfort and size of the rooms including an open, well fenestrated activities area complete with a fireplace in the center. Another wonderful feature of this plan is the abundant storage space and kitchen island. There is a practical, double vanity in a bathroom that boasts a separate, corner tub an a 3′ x 6′ shower enclosure.

It’s not your imagination playing tricks on you if you remember seeing plan 2163 built in a neighborhood nearby for this design created quite a sensation. Here is a version that gives you even more to love!

Outside, the curb appeal has changed somewhat by adding stone throughout the left side and at the bottom in the middle and on the right for an even more distinctive cachet.

Inside, the entrance foyer is flanked by a closet along its full length and the open activities area, organized around a central fireplace, enjoys an abundance of natural light through a beautiful bay window. The angled kitchen adds a dynamic feeling to this original design.

Two generously sized bedrooms offer ample storage space and the well appointed bathroom has a separate bath and space for a large shower enclosure.

Classic design is often timeless, as is plan 2837 whose subsequent models make a statement about its design that remains popular throughout the years.

Perhaps it is because of the distinctive look, enhanced by balconies and terraces or it may be because of the perfect balance between the spaces and the elegant chimney on the outside and in the harmony of design throughout the large, well organized interior spaces.

The 9’ ceiling height of the main floor accents the generous size of the abundantly fenestrated family room, complete with fireplace.
